News from the Friends of Exeter Rugby Club
Our sponsored Try competition is currently raising in the region of £17 per try!!! Thank you to all of you who have pledge to sponsor each try scored this season. There is still time to enter the competiton (closes 30 November 2008) - see the try competition page for more details.
Our sponsored player for the 2008/09 season will be Chad Slade - currently away on international duty - we look forward to welcoming Chad back to Sandy Park soon.
In the past three years, the Friends of ERC have donated more than £9,000 to Exeter Rugby Club for various pieces of essential equipment, player sponsorship and most recently through sponsoring the youth section kit. Thank you to our members and those of you who have supported our events!
The Friends of ERC are pleased to announce that more than £1,500 has been raised from the end of season party draw and funds raised on away coaches this season. This will be used to support the club buy essential equipment, including a Compex mahcine used by the physio department. This machine sends electric pulses through players' muscles to reduce inflamation and to stimualte healing. A big thank you to all those who donated prizes and bought tickets!
We now have a notice board in the County Suite (Members' Bar) keep an eye out for news and events.
