SIDMOUTH CHEER ON THE CHIEFS ON A SUPER SATURDAY
More than 200 Sidmouth RFC players and parents arrived at Sandy Park to enjoy a day with the Chiefs and take part in the Super Saturday before the latter’s home league match against London Welsh.
All the young players taking part were involved in decision-making drills along with a SAQ session and some extra defensive work requested by one of Sidmouth’s youth section coaches.
Eight players from the Chiefs, including Ben Breeze, Toby Freeman, Jamie Fleming, Shane Kingsland, Chris Bentley, Chad Slade, Tom Skelding and Gary Kingdom, all whom have been involved with the Chiefs first team this season, led the two- hour long coaching session involving children aged seven to 15.
The Chiefs players all hold level two adult coaching certificates and were impressed with the commitment shown by the Sidmouth juniors and look forward to seeing their results this the season .
All the Sidmouth youngsters took part in helping cheer on the Chiefs to beat London Welsh later in the day. Everyone at Chiefs hopes they enjoyed themselves and that they will come back to us soon this season.
