SUPPORTERS' TRAVEL GUIDE
To book a place on the away supporters’ coaches, please contact Wendy Maunder by email or phone. All seats are £15 excluding match ticket. This cost is for league games and National Trophy rounds but not a Twickenham final. As we are subsidised, there is no discount for children. Please note Wendy’s new email address as the old one has ceased to exist.
Wendy will be at the home matches and you can book your seats then. You can find her in the Undercroft Bar pre-match or in the Members’ Bar post match. You can also book onto future matches on the coach as Wendy will be taking bookings for all matches for the season. Places are very popular so don’t leave it too late. Supporters will be added to the list on a first come, first served basis. We will only run a second coach if we have a minimum of 25 names after first coach is full.
If possible, please pay Wendy when you book your seat. If you are booking for multiple matches, you can pay on a match by match basis, and the rest will be reserved for you.
PLEASE REMEMBER
Wendy is a volunteer, who also works full-time. She is not always available to answer my phone if she is in meetings. Please leave a message on her voicemail quoting your name and which match you are booking for and how many places you require.
• Please do not ask Wendy to phone you back as it is her personal mobile and phoning back around 40 people can be expensive. She will always respond to email if required.
• Once we are at an away game watching the match, Wendy has no paperwork on her as she likes watching matches too! She will be more prepared if you speak to her on the coach.
• Please do not contact Wendy on her work landline. It is very important she keeps this line free so please only use my mobile or email.
Wendy said: “The coaches have become very popular and we always welcome new people on to them. My aim is to have at least two coaches to every away game. We do have fun and you always have a chance to win your entrance ticket to the match with our on board raffle. Please come along and support the Chiefs they really appreciate it and they deserve our support home and away.”
Coaches are available for ALL away games and tickets are just £15 per person. Departure times from Sowton 30 will be advertised on the ticket page of the programme, the match information section of the website and in the club's ezine.
