Kenn Primary join the Chiefs parade 2010-06-22 Kenn Primary join the Chiefs parade
Kenn Primary School’s pupils were the latest school to get their hands on the Championship trophy when the Community Chiefs department arrived with the cup in question to show to all the children involved in the tag rugby programme that has been running there for the past few weeks.

All taking part got to have an individual photo taken with the trophy as well as a class photo. The buzz round the school was great and it was nice to see smiles on the youngsters’ faces.

Kenn Primary have been pushing hard with their tag rugby and have entered a few tournaments to try to capitalise on the training sessions they have had to date.

Community development manager Tony Walker said: “Tag rugby is a team sport and to win things you have to work hard as a team. Chiefs have proved that and we hope their work ethic rubs off onto the schools we are involved with as well.”
