Team annoucned for Wales game
Exeter Chiefs have announced their Academy side to take on Wales U20s tonight night (KO7.30pm) at Sandy Park.
The Chiefs’ team is a mixture of Academy, Exeter University and first team squad members to give the Wales representative side a chance to prepare for its upcoming Six Nations tournament and to give some younger players some game-time at Sandy Park.
The squad features the club’s new signings Drew Locke and Steve Jones, plus fit-again prop Ruaidhri Murphy and full-back Josh Matavesi.
This game will be open to the public with tickets £5 for adults and £2 for children. Children must be accompanied by adults. Tickets will be available for purchase from the ticket office on the night of the fixture and this game is not part of the Chiefs’ season ticket package.
Entrance to the ground will be gained via the south turnstiles only with parking available in the usual match day place at Apple Lane. The County Suite bar will be open for this game and food will be available at the ground.
Exeter Chiefs’ chief executive Tony Rowe said: “This fixture will give our supporters the chance to see potential Wales players of the future in action at Sandy Park. It will also provide valuable game-time for our promising Academy players, who will be ably assisted by a number of our first team squad players.”
