Sestaret makes his comeback
Winger Nic Sestaret has been recalled to the starting line-up to play against his former club, Plymouth Albion, in the Devon derby.
The Frenchman suffered a serious knee injury in the game against Leeds Carnegie before last Christmas. He is grateful for the faith the coaching team has shown in him by selecting him for such a big occasion.
He said: “It has been nine months. It’s a long time. I have been working hard with John (Moore) and Paddy (Anson) and now here we are nine months after and I will be playing against my old club.
“It was a nightmare. It was the first time for me to have a big injury. But I will come back stronger and I hope I will get fitter and fitter with every game I play.
“I will give everything I can to win this game tomorrow. It’s risk for the coaching staff and I will try not to disappoint them. I will try to give them back what they have given to me. I will give more than 100 per cent.”
Other changes in the side see Emyr Lewis restored at full-back and Paul McKenzie switch from the wing to centre. Danny Gray will also start at fly-half following Gareth Steenson’s three-match run. In the pack, Ton Hayes will lead from No 8 and James Scaysbrook and James Hanks have been selected to start.
There are still tickets available for this game. Seating in the South West Communications Stand and standing in the East Terrace and around the ground can be booked online on this website until 10am tomorrow for collection or via the phone on 01392 890890 (option one) until 4pm and in person from the ticket office also until 4pm today and from noon tomorrow.
