A former Exeter Rugby Club player, Steve first played for the club at the age of 17.
He retired from playing in 1995 at the age of 40 and subsequently joined the club committee.
When the committee was disbanded, he was brought onto the club’s board of directors where has served now for over 10 years.
Overseeing the club’s Academy structure at board level, Steve has been instrumental in helping develop this area, which in turn has brought huge success in terms of producing local, homegrown talent into the Chiefs first team ranks.
He lives in West Devon with his wife Kathy and family, where they run a Health Care business.
