Mental Health services across the South West and beyond
Elysium Healthcare is an established and stable independent provider of mental health services with a unique approach to the delivery of care. Elysium has over 80 services across England and Wales, with services covering Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, and Children & Education.
Our existing service in the South West, Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, is now joined by Pinhoe View and Spring House in Exeter; providing a range of mental health and learning disability services to people in need. A further service – The Woodmill – is also due to open early 2022 in Cullompton, providing care for women to help them transition from a secure ward setting into a less restrictive environment and onto community living.
Across these services we’re always looking out for talented individuals with transferable skills and the right behaviours to join our teams in caring for others, including support workers, nurses, catering and hotel service staff.

Elysium Services in the South West
Pinhoe View in Exeter
Pinhoe View is a 16 bed purpose built acute inpatient service. It provides a safe and stabilising environment for women in crisis or who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
The aim of the service is to provide person-centred care and treatment, focused on recovery, to allow people to return home as quickly as possible.Learn more about Pinhoe View
Spring House in Exeter
Spring House, set in the heart of Exeter is a registered care service for people with a learning disability and/or autism who may also have associated sensory, communication and physical needs as well as behaviours seen as challenging.
The service is intended for people who require a high level of support to live within the community and aims to support people to return closer to home following an inpatient admission.
Wellesley Hospital in Wellington
Wellesley Hospital is a purpose built 73 bed hospital in the South West for men and women with mental health problems. On the same site there is a separate 13 bed service for people with a learning disability who may present with mental illness, personality disorders and an autistic spectrum condition.
