A former British Rowing champion, back row Ben Grubb is part and parcel of the Exeter Chiefs Academy set-up, joining the club in January 2021 from Truro College.
He started his career initially with the Wadebridge Camels before moving on to nearby Newquay Hornets where he would remain up until Colts level.
A powerful and abrasive back row forward, Grubb continued his rugby development down at Truro College, before being invited to sign as part of the Chiefs senior academy.
He is currently combining playing for the Chiefs with studying for a degree in Business Management at the University of Exeter.
