University student Lizzie Hanlon began her rugby career aged 15, when she joined Sutton and Epsom RFC, having previously been a diver.
Whilst at Sutton and Epsom, she was selected to represent her country Surrey, before moving to Exeter to study at the university.
After impressing in her first year at the university, Hanlon was invited to train as part of the wider Exeter Chiefs squad ahead of this season, making her debut away at DMP Durham Sharks in December.
