Brought to Sandy Park this summer on a three-year deal, the England international is looking to re-ignite his playing career after a frustrating campaign last term with Gloucester.

After taking up rugby at Swanage & Warhead RFC, Kvesic attended Blundell’s School in Tiverton before joined the Worcester Warriors Academy at the age of 14.

The talented open-side made his senior debut for the Midlanders in November 2009, featuring in an Anglo-Welsh Cup encounter against the Scarlets. In doing so, he became the youngest player to represent the Warriors in the professional era.

Kvesic stayed at Sixways until 2013, finishing his time at the club by being named as Player of the Year and Players’ Player during the 2012-13 campaign, before sealing a move to the Cherry & Whites.

That year Kvesic made his senior England debut, featuring in a 32-3 win over Argentina in the First Test of their summer tour. Since then he has gone on to win three international caps.

At Gloucester, Kvesic quickly settled into his new surroundings and underlined his talents by scooping the Player, Young Player and Players’ Player of the Year titles in the 2014-15 season. He was also part of Gloucester’s Challenge Cup winning side that defeated Edinburgh 19-13 at the Twickenham Stoop.

The following season he would again be crowned Player and Young Player of the Year, establishing himself as the out-and-out open-side at Kingsholm.

In total he made 98 appearances for Gloucester, scoring ten tries in the process, before in January of this year it was confirmed he would he heading to the newly-crowned Premiership champions, Exeter Chiefs.
