Tom Hendrickson

Born in New Zealand – with a Kiwi father and Cornish mother from Newlyn – centre Tom Hendrickson was five when he came to Cornwall and at age seven began playing for the Penzance-Newlyn minis.
His coaches were Martyn Bodilly and Russell Ahearne whose input helped him develop up to Under 16s level. He also played for St Just and Redruth, as well as being part of the Exeter Chiefs Academy set-up at Truro College.
A strong midfield runner, Hendrickson debuted for the Chiefs in November 2013, featuring in a LV= Cup win over Harlequins at Sandy Park.
Over recent years, Hendrickson has developed his game impressively, using loan spells with Cornish Pirates in the RFU Championship to act as a springboard to get him more significant game-time with the Chiefs.
Not only has he featured in the Premiership Rugby Cup, Premiership 7s and in European competitions, but the 2017/18 season saw him make his Premiership debut in a 31-17 home win against Wasps.
His abrasive, hard-running style makes him a powerful front runner in the Chiefs midfield.
