Allen tops tackle count at the end of the regular season

Published on: 09/06/2026

Exeter Chiefs Women’s flanker Maisy Allen finished the regular season at the top of the PWR tacklers’ table.

Having led the battle for top tackler in the league since round two of the season, she finished round 18 on 267 tackles with Harlequins’ Jade Konkel behind her on 236.

Chiefs’ captain Emily Robinson also featured in the top 10 in seventh place on 181 tackles.

Exeter Chiefs Women’s head coach Steve Salvin said: “Maisy has been in fantastic form all season, as recognised by the Players’ Player and Young Players of the Year awards. She’s also currently leading the way for top try scorer in the PWR Cup and PWR this season. She may have missed out on selection for the Red Roses but I feel it can only be a matter of time before she is recalled into the mix.”

Elsewhere, Allen was also fourth in the turnovers won table and also fourth for gain-line carries with 98. Additionally, the 23-year-old joined centre Nancy McGillivray in delivering 17 offloads this season.

Alex Tessier was in third place for offloads with 21 and DaLeaka Menin was fifth with 20. Maddie Feaunati was in ninth for gain-line carries with 85.

Unsurprisingly, after last weekend’s four-try performance against Sale Sharks, Claudia Moloney-MacDonald featured in the line break table with 24 to put her in fourth place. She also made into the metres top 10 with 850 from just 10 games.

Liv McGoverne and Tessier both featured in the kicks in play and kicks made top 10s, with McGoverne fifth in the league for both with 114 kicks and 3,525 meters respectively.

Lastly, Chiefs’ newest centurion Flo Robinson was third for passes with 885 and fourth for try assists with nine.
