Exeter Chiefs will once again reward the efforts of our Armed Forces by dedicating a special match-day in their honour in December.

Club officials have confirmed that they will be carrying out a special ticket offer for the upcoming Heineken Champions Cup clash with Sale Sharks at Sandy Park on Sunday, December 15 (1pm)

Building on the success of previous years, any serving Armed Forces employee will be able to watch the game for FREE, providing they show a current and valid ID card to club staff.

This free ticket can be claimed by visiting the Trading Post at Sandy Park on a Monday to Friday (9:30am-4:30pm) or on the day of the Sale game itself from the ticket office, which will be open three hours prior to kick-off.

Tickets available are for North Terrace or SW Comms Wings area only, and those claiming a free ticket should bring their ID with them on match-day. Additional tickets for friends or family can be purchased at full price.

Rugby Club chairman and chief executive Tony Rowe OBE said: "As many people will know, Exeter Rugby Club hold strong links with our local Armed Forces. As a club we felt it only right that we recognise the efforts of all those people who are heavily involved in these various organisations.

"These promotion days have been running for a number of years now and I know that they are very well received across the region. Again, we urge as many as people who qualify for a ticket to take up the offer and join us for what should be another hugely entertaining fixture at Sandy Park."

* NOTE: Tickets will not be available to claim at this Saturday's Premiership clash between Exeter Chiefs and Wasps *
