Following Exeter Chiefs’ 38-0 win over Harlequins on Sunday afternoon, director of rugby Rob Baxter has provided a positive injury update for his Chiefs squad.

Loosehead prop Will Goodrick-Clarke picked up a shoulder injury in the round four fixture. He was removed from the field in the 22nd minute and following scans, it has been confirmed he has suffered an AC joint tear. Goodrick-Clarke will be assessed on a day-by-day basis to determine his availability and recovery timeframe.

Winger Paul Brown-Bampoe and prop Scott Sio were late withdrawals from Sunday’s fixture, but both have shown positive signs in recovery and could be available for selection against Gloucester Rugby this weekend.

Will Rigg has also rejoined the Chiefs squad from a short loan period to Cardiff Rugby and is involved in full-time training.
