Exeter Chiefs are back in Gallagher Premiership action this Sunday when they play host to Worcester Warriors at Sandy Park (3pm).

As the game will again be played behind closed doors, supporters will be wondering how they can watch the Round 17 encounter.

Well, we recently announced that the club had teamed up with BT Sport to offer 2019/20 Season Ticket Holders free of charge access, via the BT Sport, to all of our remaining home games.

Below, we have compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help you understand how this works

What is the BT Sport Match Pass?

The BT Sport Match Pass is a one-off pass offered free of charge to 2019/20 Exeter Chiefs Season Ticket holders allowing them access to watch a game that is being broadcast on the BT Sport App during the period in which 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership matches are being played behind closed doors.

The BT Sport Match Pass offer is only available on a match-by-match basis, meaning a separate match pass will be required for each individual fixture.

Am I eligible?

The BT Sport Match Pass is only available on a match-by-match basis to 2019/20 Exeter Chiefs Season Ticket holders. You need to be aged 18 or over, with a registered UK address.

Eligibility for the Match Pass is at the club’s discretion and is not determined by BT.

You should not register for a Match Pass if you are an existing BT Sport customer.

How do I get a BT Sport Match Pass?

We will email all Season Ticket Holders 3-4 days before each home game with an invitation for them to apply for a BT Sport Match Pass. The email will contain a code called a BT Sport Match Pass ID.

We recommend that Season Ticket Holders register for a BT Sport Match Pass as soon as possible after receiving this email.

To register for your Match Pass, simply visit bt.com/matchpass, select the match (this must be the Exeter Chiefs home fixture), and then enter your details.

You will be asked to enter your Match Pass ID and must do so exactly as it appears on the email that you received from us.

If you are registering in advance of the match, you will receive an email confirming your successful registration straight away.

You will then receive a second email containing your BT ID username and password on the day of the game, and no less than two hours before kick-off. You will need these to log in to the BT Sport App.

If you are registering less than six hours before kick-off, then your BT ID credentials will be displayed on bt.com/matchpass as soon as you have successfully registered. You will also be sent an email confirming these credentials.

If you have any technical problems, please contact BT's dedicated team on 0800 876 6982. Phone lines are open from four hours prior to kick-off of each match.

How does the Match Pass work?

Your BT Sport Match Pass consists of a set of BT ID credentials, consisting of a username and password.

Once you’ve received your credentials, you can use them to log in to the BT Sport App on any platform or watch on bt.com/sport.

Your access will expire shortly after the end of the match. You will get an email from the Club offering you the chance to register for another Match Pass in advance of each subsequent home game and you will need to apply for a Match Pass again, using the same process as before.

Can I share my code?

Thousands of Season Ticket Holders will benefit from the partnership between BT Sport and Exeter Chiefs, which is designed to reward loyal fans.

Please be aware sharing your unique ID and passwords with others is not permitted. BT and Exeter take this matter extremely seriously and will take the appropriate action against anyone who shares their unique IDs and undermines the club and offer in this way.

Which matches can I watch using the Match Pass?

The Match Pass is only available for the remaining 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership home games and cannot be used to watch games in other competitions. These matches are:

Worcester Warriors - Sunday, August 30 (3pm)

Gloucester - Wednesday, September 9 (6pm)

London Irish - Fixture Date & Time yet to be confirmed

The pass will give you access to the BT Sport App to watch a single home match played by Exeter Chiefs that is being shown live on BT Sport.

Do I need a Match Pass if I am a BT Sport subscriber?

No. If you already have a BT Sport subscription, you do not need to register for a Match Pass as you will already have access to all of the remaining 2019/20 matches.

How can I watch Exeter Chiefs away games?

All of the remaining 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership games will be available to watch on BT Sport.

You will, therefore, need to be a BT Sport subscriber to watch games that aren’t available via the Match Pass.

Which games are being televised?

All 57 remaining Gallagher Premiership matches will be available to watch on BT Sport or via live stream on the BT Sport app and BT Sport website.

Why is a match involving Exeter Chiefs not available to register for?

Once registered, most people should receive the email no less than two hours prior to kick-off.

If you haven’t received it by this time, check your email junk and spam folders, in case the email has accidentally ended up in there.

If you still can’t find it, please go back to bt.com/matchpass. Re-enter your email address and Match Pass ID and your BT Sport ID credentials that you can use to log into the app will be displayed.

If you are still having problems, please contact BT’s dedicated team on 0800 876 6982. Phone lines are open from four hours prior to kick-off of each match.
