The Exeter Chiefs Community department are bracing themselves for an action-packed couple of weeks with various activities planned.

It all starts this Saturday (Feb 9) at Sandy Park when - in conjunction with England Rugby - the Community Chiefs will be staging a special 'Pitch Up and Play' morning.

Aimed at youngsters aged between 6-16, those who register at 10am on a first come, first serve basis, will be able to engage in a series of coaching drills, all of which are aimed at improving rugby skills in match-like scenarios.

Saturday's session is the first of two 'Pitch Up and Play' sessions being run ahead of the Six Nations fixtures taking place at the home of the Exeter Chiefs. England Under-20s tackle their French counterparts on Saturday, after which the England Women's side make their first-ever appearance in Devon, playing host to Italy on Saturday, March 9.

Those wishing to take part should note, however, that the sessions are only available to match ticket holders.

Also on the calendar for the Community Chiefs is the new 'Train Like A Chief' half-term camps.

The first takes place on Monday, February 18 at Ivybridge Community College (10:15am-3:30pm) with Sandy Park playing host to a similar session on Thursday, February 21 (9:45am-3pm).
