Although no supporters will be permitted into Sandy Park for Saturday’s restarting of the Gallagher Premiership, they can have the next best seat in the house with confirmation that both BT Sport and Channel 5 will be showing the Round 14 clash between Exeter Chiefs and Leicester Tigers.

Having not played a game since defeating Bath 57-20 at the same venue back in early March, there is great excitement amongst the Chiefs’ fan-base at the first return of rugby.

Exeter Chiefs season ticket holders will not get the BT Sport Match Pass for Saturday’s fixture as the game will be shown free-to-air on Channel 5, who have confirmed today that this is one of four live fixtures that will broadcast during the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

Other games confirmed for coverage by Channel 5 are:

Saturday, August 15 (2.00pm): Exeter Chiefs v Leicester Tigers
Saturday, August 22 (2.00pm): London Irish v Northampton Saints
Saturday, August 29 (3.00pm): Sale Sharks v Bristol Bears
Saturday, September 5 (2.00pm): Harlequins v Bath Rugby

All four matches will be broadcast simultaneously on BT Sport.

The Channel 5 highlights show returns on Monday, August 17 (7.00pm), presented by Mark Durden-Smith and David Flatman, showing all the action from Gallagher Premiership Rugby.
