Chiefs academy players named in England U18 training camp

Following on from an impressive PREM Next Gen finals day performance, six Exeter Chiefs Academy players have been selected in the England U18 training camp.
Head coach Jonathan Pendlebury has selected a 40-player group to come together at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre for the camp today.
Forwards Jeremy Keys and Harry Westlake are joined by backs Charlie Bosanko, Alex Evans, Archie Guyver and Will McIntosh in the camp which aims to prepare the U18s squad for their Six Nations Festival in April.
Pendlebury said: “As we name this week’s squad, selection is a reward and recognition for recent performances and current potential we see. There is hope and expectation for our players to come in and explore in our environment, taking responsibility for their future development and support for each other.
“The staff will continue to stretch and challenge them, working towards our upcoming competition programme and what is to come in their ambitions in the pathway for next season.
“Above all, we want the group to embrace the opportunity. There should be real enjoyment in representing England at any level – enjoyment in the work, in the competition and in the brotherhood that we look to create over the next four days.”
