Chiefs’ Investec Champions Cup pool opponents revealed

Exeter Chiefs’ return to the Investec Champions Cup will see them come up against TOP 14 champions Stade Toulousain.
The live draw to determine the pools was streamed live at lunchtime today with Exeter Chiefs drawn in pool two
Other teams in their pool begin with Jack Nowell’s Stade Rochelais, along with Connacht Rugby from the United Rugby Championship, South African side, the Lions, and fellow Gallagher PREM team, Saracens.
Exeter Chiefs’ director of rugby Rob Baxter said: “Any European fixture is exciting, and this pool offers the opportunity to play in potentially epic encounters that I know our supporters will relish. Our return to the Investec Champions Cup means we get the opportunity to pitch ourselves against the very best teams in all three competitions. That’s exactly the challenge we look forward to as a playing and coaching group.”
Pool games will be played in October, December and January with the knockout stages beginning in April. The final will be played in Lyon on Saturday, 22 May, 2027.
The dates, kick-off times and venues will be announced later this month. Exeter Chiefs men’s Seasonal Memberships include all Investec Champions Cup pool games played at Sandy Park.
