Exeter Chiefs gathered at Sandy Park this morning to remember and commemorate the fallen in a Remembrance service.

The club welcomed members of all military branches alongside Deputy Lord Mayor councillor Gemma Rolstone, with readings from Chiefs’ director of rugby Rob Baxter and Chiefs Women’s head coach Steve Salvin.

Club chaplin Simon Atkinson oversaw the service, leading attendees in hymns including ‘The Lord’s my shepherd’ and ‘Abide with me’ before the readings and the two minutes' silence.

Royal Marine bugler Alex Lynch played the Last Post before bringing the service to its close with Reveille.

The service was attended by all Chiefs players and coaches, as well as members of the wider club staff.
