Exeter Chiefs can issue the following injury update following Round 15 of the Gallagher Premiership.
The below players are currently undergoing monitoring with the Chiefs medical team.
Greg Fisilau:
Back rower Fisilau was assessed by the Chiefs medical team following last Sunday’s fixture and it has been determined that he will need to undergo shoulder surgery. The rehabilitation process will last approximately 12 weeks.
Ben Hammersley:
Winger Hammersley left the field at Kingsholm after 21 minutes with a PCL injury. After assessment with the medical team and scans, it has been confirmed that he will not require surgery and instead will enter a period of rehabilitation at the club, likely to last 8-10 weeks.
Joe Hawkins:
Centre Hawkins was substituted in the 50th minute against Gloucester due to an ankle injury. After a scan and a conversation with a surgeon this week, it has been determined that the Welshman does not require surgery. However, he will need to wear a boot for approximately four weeks and will be unable to participate in full training during that period. He will continue to rehab with the Chiefs medical team.
Max Norey:
Hooker Norey came on as a replacement in the 44th minute of last weekend’s fixture and completed the match. Following assessment with the Chiefs medical staff and scans, it has been determined that he will require shoulder surgery. Post-procedure, he will enter a rehabilitation process of approximately 16 weeks.
