Exeter Chiefs have agreed to release Michele Campagnaro from his playing contract with the Gallagher Premiership club from October 31.

The Italian international, who joined the club in the summer of 2015 from Benetton Treviso, will then become a free agent.

The 25-year-old back, who was part of the match-day 23 when the Chiefs won the Aviva Premiership title in 2017, has made 27 first team appearances during his time at Sandy Park, scoring nine tries in the process.
