Chiefs Women partner with Woodbury Park

Published on: 13/10/2026

Exeter Chiefs Women have partnered with Woodbury Park to support the squad’s recovery, strength and conditioning needs in a stunning, rural location.

Used by international teams during the Rugby World Cup last year, Woodbuy Park offers ideal facilities to support the weekday needs of a professional sports team.

Surrounded by rolling Devon countryside, Woodbury Park combines golf, padel, health, dining and stays in a single leafy setting with far-reaching views of Exeter and Dartmoor.

Chiefs Women use Woodbury Park’s state-of-the-art gym, pool, spa and meeting spaces to recover from weekend games and to prepare for the next fixture ahead. Team physios have their own rooms to treat players in while there is also a practice pitch available for training sessions.

Exeter Chiefs Women’s head coach Oli Bishop said: “The facilities at Woodbury Park are second to none and located in such a peaceful setting. The gym provides all the free weights and machines we need in a light airy space, the pool and spa facilities are ideal for recovery sessions, and the pitch is so convenient. We are also grateful for all the meeting spaces too. In short, Woodbury Park could not have made us feel more welcome.”

Woodbury Park will also sponsor Chiefs’ Rugby World Cup-winning Red Rose Maddie Feaunati this season.

Woodbury Park’s general manager Dan Hawkins said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Exeter Chiefs Women and to be supporting one of the game’s brightest talents, Maddie Feaunati, this season. Exeter Chiefs is a fantastic club which mirror our own values, high standards and ambitions, and we are proud to play a part in the team’s preparation, recovery and performance.

“We hope our excellent facilities and supportive environment will help both the squad and Maddie enjoy a successful season ahead, and we look forward to building a strong and lasting relationship together.”
