History will be made in early April when the eagerly-anticipated Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 fixtures will be played over two legs for the first time as an elite group of clubs and their supporters with as many as 28 European titles between them compete to stay on the road to the Marseille finals.
Six former tournament winners, including Exeter Chiefs, are all in contention to win the coveted silverware again following the announcement of the dates, kick-off times and broadcast coverage of the home and away matches at the start of the Heineken Champions Cup knockout stage,
Pick of the last 16 ties on offer is the titanic clashes between Exeter Chiefs and Munster Rugby, which will take place on April 9 and 16.
Rob Baxter’s side will welcome the Irish Province to Sandy Park for the opening leg of their double-header on Saturday, April 9 with a 5:30pm kick-off. While a week later, the Chiefs – who won the Heineken Champions Cup back in 2020 – will make the trip to Thomond Park in Limerick for the return leg, which will kick-off at 3pm.
Both games will be shown live on BT Sport and beIN Sports.
Match Tickets and Hospitality Packages for the fixture at Sandy Park will be available from today (February 8) at 6pm.
Match Tickets for this game will be £5 cheaper than normal match-day prices as we aim to ‘Pack the Park’ for what promises to be an enthralling encounter between two of European Rugby’s heavyweight clubs.
All Season Ticket Holders are advised as this is a progression game this is an all-pay fixture – and that they will have until 5pm on Tuesday, February 15 to reserve their seasonal ticket/tickets.
