Disciplinary update: Campbell Ridl

Exeter Chiefs winger Campbell Ridl has been suspended for two matches following a disciplinary process.

The suspension relates to the 20-minute red card that Ridl was shown by referee Luke Pearce during the round nine Gallagher PREM match between Bath Rugby and Chiefs at he Recreation Ground last Saturday afternoon.

Ridl was shown a red card for tackling, charging, pushing, or grasping a player in the air, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.17, after a clash with Henry Arundell.

The case was heard on papers by Sole Judicial Officer Charles Cuthbert.

Ridl accepted the charge and received a two-match ban.
