Fixtures announced for 2025/26 PWR season

Exeter Chiefs Women will kick-off their PWR season with an away trip to Trailfinders followed by a home fixture against triple champions Gloucester-Hartpury.
The new PWR season will open on the weekend of October 25/26 with Chiefs’ game against Trailfinders kicking off at 15:00 on the Saturday.
Chiefs Women will then welcome reigning champions Gloucester-Hartpury to Sandy Park on Saturday, November 1 (KO 15:00).
The days and times of the first eight rounds of the PWR season have been confirmed for all clubs in line with TV schedules. All PWR games will be broadcast live by the BBC, TNT Sports or on the PWR’s YouTube channel.
Chiefs Women’s head coach Steve Salvin said: “After an exciting summer of sport for women in this country, the PWR season will definitely begin with a bang for us! Trailfinders have been busily recruiting in the extended off-season and will want to make their mark from the outset.
“Gloucester-Hartpury will also be hoping to add to their run of championships with their host of internationals back from Rugby World Cup duty.
“These will be tough games but the kind of fixtures we have been looking forward to after nearly six months without any league rugby. The PWR will be a more competitive place to be next season, and I just hope those new fans who have watched any of the Rugby World Cup fixtures will then come and watch our players in the league too. All the PWR teams have plenty of international talent on offer alongside club players who will be only too glad to receive some support.”
Chiefs will entertain Bristol and Saracens in the run-up to Christmas but have a bye week for the weekend of December 20/21.
There are two spells without PWR rugby at the end of December into January, and again on April and May when international competitions are taking place.
The end of the regular season will see Chiefs host Sale Sharks on the weekend of May 30/31. The PWR semi-finals will take place two weeks later and the final on June 27/28.
