Former Exeter Rugby Club players killed during World War I & II will be among those remembered ahead of the upcoming Premiership Rugby Cup clash with Harlequins at Sandy Park.

In what will be the club's Remembrance Day fixture on Saturday, November 10, the Chiefs match-day squad - along with club Chief Executive and Chairman Tony Rowe OBE and Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter - will each carry a wreath onto the pitch ahead of kick-off in honour of the 25 former players killed in battle.

Each year the club holds a special service to remember all those servicemen and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice, including those players whose names adorn two special commemorative plaques within the County Suite at Sandy Park.

Ahead of kick-off, a special service will be conducted by the club chaplain Rev Simon Atkinson, so supporters attending the game will be asked to take their seats or place within the stadium in sufficient time to avoid any disruption.

A Bugler from the Royal Marines Band will sound both the 'Last Post' and 'Reveille', whilst there will also be a minute's silence to remember the fallen.
