Exeter Chiefs back-rower Jack Forsythe has agreed a permanent move to Cornish Pirates for the 2026/27 season.
Forsythe has been on loan to the Champ Rugby side since the outset of the current campaign and has already made 20 Pirates appearances, scoring three tries.
A former Worcester Warriors Academy player, Forsythe was recruited by Chiefs in October 2024 as part of a seven-player strong group of promising young talent.
Originally impressing in Devon with strong performances for EURFC at the University of Exeter, Forsythe was dual-registered with Pirates ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.
Described by Pirates joint head coach Alan Paver as “a real athlete” who “brings something different to our back-row”, the forward will be looking to help the Cornishmen end their season on a high as they currently sit seventh in the league table.
