Exeter Chiefs Women’s loosehead prop Hope Rogers has been selected to start for USA Eagles against the Black Ferns after her stunning hat-trick last weekend.

Lining up alongside Rogers will be No Rachel Johnson while prop Charli Jacoby will start on the bench.

This is the last weekend of Pacific Four Series 2025, with Canada, the Black Ferns and Australia all vying for the title. The Eagles Women go into their last game of this season’s Pacific Four Series without a win, but their performance will play a crucial part in determining the winners.

Rogers said: “The tour has been positive overall. As a group, we work hard and continue to raise our standards. Training is challenging, but enjoyable, and we work hard for each other. We have a lot of growth amongst the squad. I’m grateful for our staff that continuously challenge us but show their belief in us as well.

“From a results perspective, it’s been quite frustrating and disappointing. We aren’t executing the way we want at all times. We have really amazing moments when we stick to the game plan that shows the kind of team we are. We just need more of that across the 80 minutes. I’m excited to have one last opportunity in PAC4 to get it right. I genuinely believe we can be one of the best teams in the World, it’s just time we start showing that and getting the wins.”

PAC4 permutations

New Zealand will win PAC4 if:

They match Canada’s result (winning with or without a bonus point), unless Canada wins by 15+ more points than New Zealand beat USA by.

Canada will win PAC4 if:

They beat Australia, and New Zealand lose or draw, or New Zealand win without a bonus point and Canada get one, or Canada win by 15+ more points than New Zealand beat USA by.

Australia will win PAC4 if:

They beat Canada, and New Zealand lose to USA, and Australia finish with the same number of bonus points this round as Canada and New Zealand.

USA Eagles will take on the Black Ferns at the North Harbour Stadium at 4:35 on Saturday.
