Hodge to join Red Bulls with immediate effect

Exeter Chiefs full-back Josh Hodge has agreed an early release from the club, allowing him to join Newcastle Red Bulls effective immediately.

It was announced in December that the 25-year-old would be returning to the northern club from which he joined Chiefs in June 2020.

Recent discussions between Chiefs and Red Bulls have enabled the two clubs to mutually agree for Hodge to move to Kingston Park before the end of the 2025/26 season.

Hodge’s last game for Chiefs was the PREM Rugby Cup final against Leicester Tigers at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, during which the full-back slotted two conversions.
