Published on: 12/03/2026
Exeter Chiefs lock Dafydd Jenkins has been named to start for Wales in their closing fixture of the 2026 Guinness Six Nations.
The Welshmen host Italy at the Principality Stadium on Saturday, 14 March for their competition finale.
There are no changes to the starting XV from head coach Steve Tandy as Dewi Lake captains alongside try-scoring loosehead Rhys Carre. Scarlets’ back Blair Murray is a new addition to the bench.
Tandy said: “Having an unchanged team, I think it reflects the cohesion and the consistency in the group and the consistency of performance out in Ireland.
“This week we need to go up another level. We’ve had some really good performances. Now it’s putting it all together and creating our best performance this weekend.”
The game kicks off at 16:40 on Saturday afternoon and will be broadcast live on BBC.
