Legends ready to take on the 1905 Club and Masterclasses

Exeter Chiefs are welcoming back six legends to entertain supporters on match days.

Chris Bentley, Ollie Devoto, Phil Dollman, Kai Horstmann, Ben Moon, Carl Rimmer and Chris Whitehead are joining forces to rekindle their relationships with the Chiefs’ fanbase as compères in the 1905 Club and in the Masterclasses.

The 1905 Club is Exeter Chiefs’ most prestigious seasonal membership. Named after the year the All Blacks toured the UK and played Exeter, a membership includes VIP hospitality and parking, dining, premium West Grandstand seating, player interactions and a legend’s slot.

These legends will also take part in the Masterclass, held in Supporters’ Bar in the Undercroft, which will this week see Chris Whitehead discuss lineouts with Lewis Pearson and Andrea Zambonin ahead of the first Gallagher PREM game of the season, Gloucester Rugby.

Catherine Hill, the club’s chief commercial officer, said: “The 20th anniversary of Sandy Park has encouraged us to look back and celebrate our past, and these players were obviously a considerable part of our success. We think they will have much to offer Chiefs fans in terms of their memories of the club and their rugby expertise to provide meaningful, and probably hilarious, entertainment on a match day.”

There is still availability for the 1905 Club, which can also be purchased on a match-by-match basis. Masterclasses are free to attend and take place one hour and 45 minutes before kick-off.
