Lilley to get game-time for Albion

Centre Nick Lilley is the latest Chiefs youngster to join National One side Plymouth Albion to gain game time in the coming weeks.
Lilley, who scored on his club debut in the closing stages of last season’s PREM competition, has been a replacement on the Chiefs bench in recent weeks.
A talented young player in the Chiefs squad, the 19-year-old has already gained the attention of fans as one to watch. He excelled in a talented England U20 team at this year’s U20 World Championship.
Chiefs’ director of rugby Rob Baxter said: “We’re delighted that another one of our young players can get some valuable game-time with Plymouth. They’re having a good season, playing some competitive rugby and this move allows Nick to still spend training sessions with us and continue to develop with our squad.
“The key for us is that when these guys drop away from being involved in our matchday 23, that we keep them playing as it’s a hugely important part of their development.
“Our relationship with Plymouth is really good in allowing our lads to get training time with both teams. Then, hopefully their input in games helps Plymouth have a good season.”
Lilley joins fellow England U20 internationals Louie Gulley and Oscar Beckerleg in being available for Plymouth games.
