The case of Linde van der Velden, Exeter Chiefs, was heard by independent disciplinary panel on Tuesday 5 November 2024, chaired by Tom Gilbart sitting with Guy Lovgreen and Meg Gardiner.
Van der Velden was cited for dangerous tackling, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13, during a game against Saracens on Saturday 2 November 2024. The incident took place in the 60th minute.
The player admitted the charge and received a four-match ban.
