Exeter Chiefs fly-half Louie Sinclair has agreed a move to Bristol Bears for the 2026/27 season.
Sinclair joins fellow Chiefs youngster Sol Moody in making the move to the Gallagher PREM rivals at the end of this season. Also similar to Moody, the half-back is currently on loan to Cornish Pirates in the Champ.
He said: “The last three years have been a roller-coaster, but I am very grateful for the opportunity that Chiefs have given me. The club is full of great people that have helped me to grow not only as a rugby player but as a person. I’ve made some great friends and some awesome memories. I’m looking forward to my next chapter with Bristol.”
A fellow Finborough School graduate, Sinclair also spent time at the prestigious Hamilton Boys’ High School in New Zealand in his younger years before joining Chiefs in 2023.
The 21-year-old has spent the 2025/26 season harnessing his burgeoning talent in the Cornish Pirates camp down in Penzance, recently earning a Team of the Week selection for his performance against Cambridge in round 19.
Sinclair will continue the current season with Pirates before joining Bears in the summer.
