Most capped Eagle signs new deal with Chiefs Women

USA Eagles’ most capped player Hope Rogers has signed a new contract with Exeter Chiefs Women to keep her at Sandy Park.
Rogers became the most capped women’s Eagle in the recent Pacific Four Series against Canada. She went on to seal her international prowess with a hat-trick of tries against Australia in the same tournament.
Meanwhile, she was announced as the Chiefs Women’s Top Try Scorer of the Year with 10 tries in the 2024/25 season. Rogers was also selected in the PWR’s Dream Team for her performances at loosehead prop in the wake of being named in the World Rugby Women’s 15s Dream Team of the Year in 2024.
Head coach Steve Salvin said: “There is no doubt Hope is an outstanding international player and is a threat every time she takes to the field. Her exceptional low centre of gravity makes her almost impossible to stop at close quarters, which what makes her such a danger in the red zone.
“Fortunately for us, Hope is very happy with Chiefs, and Exeter is home from home for her now. I am sure Chiefs fans will be travelling around the country to watch her in action in the Rugby World Cup and we will be supporting g her from afar., We will look forward to welcoming her home for another massive PWR season.”
Rogers made her debut for Chiefs against Harlequins in January 2022. She has made 48 appearances for the club amassing 47 tries and 235 points.
Rogers said: “I'm really excited for my fifth season here at Chiefs and I'm looking forward to building with the squad.
"Hopefully we can carry the momentum from the World Cup into our season and continue to grow and showcase women's rugby."
