Mumm's back for Sandy Park 20th Anniversary Dinner

Published on: 26/06/2026

Exeter Chiefs legend Dean Mumm has confirmed he will be flying in for the Sandy Park’s 20th Anniversary Dinner on Friday, September 25.

The former Australian international flanker and Chiefs skipper will join ex-teammate Thomas Waldrom after they both answered an invite from the club’s CEO and chairman Tony Rowe CBE to attend a glittering gala dinner to celebrate two decades of rugby at Sandy Park.

Mumm, who now lives in Sydney, Australia, said: “When I received the invite from Tony, I was more than happy to agree to come back to a place that holds so many happy memories for me. I made some really good mates during my three seasons at Sandy Park, and I will never forget the loyalty of the home fans. I am looking forward to getting reacquainted with both these sets of people in September.”

The duo will be joined by other Chiefs legends from the last 20 years plus current men’s and women’s players as guests enjoy a delicious five-course dinner crafted by Sandy Park’s award-winning chef Craig Beacham.

The event will be hosted by Sandy Park’s events partner and former Chiefs player Chris Bentley to reminisce on days gone by with stories from both the pitch and the dressing room.

Tickets start at £130 or table of 10 from £1,250. Please contact head of business development & partnerships Emily Jackson at sp20@sandypark.co.uk to find out more details or book here.
