Norey available for selection with Pirates

Hooker Max Norey will be available for selection with Champ Rugby side Cornish Pirates this weekend.

The hooker recently returned to full training having successfully rehabbed a shoulder injury he underwent surgery for at the conclusion of last season.

Chiefs’ director of rugby Rob Baxter said: “This is a great opportunity for Max to log some important game minutes in a competitive Champ team as he continues his return.

“We’ve got a tough run of games coming up and a loan to Pirates gives us the chance to ensure as many of our squad as possible have played recently. I know Max will be raring to perform well for Pirates, so both us and them are excited to see how he goes.”

Cornish Pirates currently sit fourth in the Champ table and prepare to face Richmond a the Mennaye Field this Saturday afternoon [KO 14:30].
