Rogers and Granzotto to meet in WXV fixture in Texas
Published on: 15/10/2026
Exeter Chiefs Women’s loosehead prop Hope Rogers and winger Francesca Granzotto will share the same field as they play against each other in the WXV Global Series.
The pair will pull on their boots for the USA and Italy respectively as the tournament starts its second set of matches.
International teams have moved from the European venues of the first half of the competition to further afield with USA heading to home soil.
The game will be played at the Texas Health Mansfield Stadium, kicking off at 23:00 (BST) on Saturday.
USA go into this game on the back of two victories over Ireland and Wales.
USA head coach Jack Hanratty said: “We worked hard in Ireland and Wales and closing out two rest matches brings such confidence to the group.
""We have had some squad rotations and changes but since day one, we have said if we are going to challenge the top nations we are not looking to develop a world-class team but a world-class squad.”
For Italy, Granzotto will start on the left wing as the Le Azzurre chase their second win of the tournament.
