Sandy Park anniversary celebrations continue with Pasty & Pint event

Published on: 28/07/2026

To continue the ongoing celebrations for our 20th Anniversary year, Sandy Park is launching a brand new ‘Pasty and a Pint’ event to bring together the past and present of Exeter Chiefs.

The event, which will be compered by former player and Sandy Park’s event partner Chris Bentley, is designed to be a good old-fashioned rugby knees-up with pints, stories and belly-aching laughs.

Held on Thursday, 24 September, the event falls on the eve of Chiefs’ first Gallagher PREM fixture of the 2026/27 season. Poetically, Chiefs host Gloucester Rugby at Sandy Park two decades on from their first ever Premiership fixture which was also against the famous cherry and whites.

The evening is designed to be a relaxed celebration, including Q&A’s with club legends and current Chiefs squad members, all to be followed by entertainment from DJ Bonnie in the Powderham Bar at Sandy Park.

There will be mouth-watering food to accompany the on-stage entertainment. Supporters will have the chance to select from a range of pasty options, including vegetarian and vegan options. All before washing down their food with an ice-cold pint of Heineken.

Tickets will be £40 each, or a discounted rate of £35 is available for supporters with seasonal memberships.
