Exeter Chiefs loosehead prop Scott Sio has been named on the bench for Manu Samoa in their final World Cup qualifier match against Belgium.

Sio became the third member of his family to represent Samoa when he debuted last weekend, following in the footsteps of his father and sister who both represented the pacific islands nation at World Cup tournaments.

Having defeated Brazil 48-10 and Namibia 26-8, Samoa are favourites to win this final clash and claim their place in the 2027 Rugby World Cup due to take place in Australia.

Harlequins’ Titi Lamositele starts at loosehead with Saracens’ lock Theo McFarland captaining the side and former PREM man Jacob Umaga at full-back.

The fixture, which kicks off at 15:30 on Tuesday 18 November, will be broadcast on RugbyPass TV.
