SuperPWR Weekend to ignite Allianz Premiership Women's Rugby

Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby goes up another level on March 2nd and 3rd as the league stages a SuperPWR weekend with all four matches broadcast live and all the games in main stadiums.

One of the highlights is the huge clash between Gloucester-Hartpury and Exeter Chiefs on a weekend when there are no men’s Guinness Six Nations matches or Gallagher Premiership Rugby fixtures. The re-run of last season's Allianz Premiership Women's Rugby final will be broadcast live on TNT Sports.

Marlie Packer, the Saracens and England captain, who is one of the SuperPWR weekend ambassadors said: “The league has taken a huge step forward this season and I can’t wait to see bumper crowds and TV audiences on the SuperPWR Weekend on 2nd and 3rd of March, especially at StoneX Stadium where we take on Leicester Tigers.

"This weekend is all about showcasing the women in this league as the amazing athletes that we are, but also as the amazing people I know we all are off the pitch as well.

"I can’t wait to see what is in store and I know that this weekend will be a perfect showcase of all that is good about women’s rugby.”

PWR will be urging fans to get involved with players and supporters alike telling us about their superpowers. We aim to demonstrate that the game is full of female superheroes, perfect for all the family. PWR is exciting, modern and fresh, and we believe this vibrant feel is part of a new era of women’s rugby.

All four matches will be broadcastthat weekend with two games on TNT Sports, and both Trailfinders Women v Bristol Bears and Saracens v Leicester Tigers on PWR’s YouTube channel and on TikTok.
