Tchumbadze bolsters Georgia squad
Published on: 23/10/2026
Exeter Chiefs tighthead prop Bachuki Tchumbadze will help to bolster the Georgian pack during their 2026 World Rugby Nations Cup games this November in Tbilisi.
The 24-year-old prop, who is now joined at Chiefs by countryman Nika Abuladze, is one of 21 forwards selected in a 36-strong player group under the leadership of head coach Pierre-Henri Broncan.
Georgia won all three of their summer tour games in South America, collecting 14 points with victories over Uruguay, Samoa and Chile. In November, they will host Canada, Tonga and an unbeaten USA side at either the Avchala Stadium or Mikheil Meskhi Stadium.
Tchumbadze and Luka Ivanishvili [Bristol Bears] are the two Gallagher PREM players included in the squad which draws players from the Georgian side Black Lion and from the top two tears of French competition.
All games in the competition will be broadcast live on RugbyPass TV.
