Exeter Chiefs tighthead prop Bachuki Tchumbadze has been included in Georgia’s squad for the 2026 World Rugby Nations Cup.
The 24-year-old front-rower is joined by Chiefs’ summer signing Nika Abuladze in the 40-man Georgian squad which includes six potential debutants.
The Georgians launch their summer campaign on July 4 at the Estadio Charrua against Uruguay before taking on Pacific Islands nation, Samoa and then concluding their summer against Chile in La Serena.
These games make up part of the new World Rugby Nations Cup, an international tournament designed to provide competitive fixtures for second tier nations who are seen as emerging national teams on the world rugby stage.
The inaugural competition is being played this summer to best prepare sides for the men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia.
