Two Academy squads head to U16s festival

Exeter Chiefs Academy is sending two squads to the RFU’s U16s festival being held at the University of Warwick tomorrow.
This annual event will take place at the Cryfield Pavillion in Coventry. Both teams will play three 30-minute games.
Chiefs North will take on teams from Newcastle, Sale and Yorkshire with their first game kicking off at 13:10 while Chiefs South will play against Leicester, Newcastle and Northampton starting at 15:20.
Exeter Chiefs Academy manager Rob Gibson said: “The RFU Academy U16 Festival at Warwick is always a standout moment in the calendar. The format of three 30-minute games creates a fast-paced, high-intensity environment where players are constantly challenged and required to adapt quickly. It provides our players with a fantastic opportunity to test themselves against high quality opposition.”
