
Varney included in Italy's final Six Nations bout

Exeter Chiefs scrum-half Stephen Varney has returned to match fitness in time to take part in Italy's 2026 Guinness Six Nations finale this weekend.
The 24-year-old missed out on the start of the tournament due to injury but makes his recovery to be named on the bench for the Azzurri on Saturday at the Principality Stadium.
Italy make three changes to their starting line-up as Alessandro Fusco, Federico Ruzza and Muhamed Hasa are all named.
Back-rower Michele Lamaro again takes the captaincy as the exciting duo of Tommaso Menoncello and Juan Ignacio Brex lines up in the midfield.
The game kicks off at 16:40 on Saturday afternoon and will be broadcast live on BBC.
