Young Chiefs side beat Plymouth in final minute

A young Chiefs side were victorious 41-43 in their first pre-season friendly at Brickfields on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts, Plymouth Albion, were in front on 79 minutes played when a near length of the field score from Noah Fenton handed Chiefs the win.
"The most pleasing aspect of the game was we showed what our DNA should look like on the field," Chiefs skills coach Ricky Pellow said.
"We have talked a lot about what it is to be a Chief away from the technical and tactical aspects of the game and we showed that. The game wasn't perfect but we stayed in the fight and that was what gave us a chance to win.
"You then take Noah's finish to win it and you have a top class individual score from a controlled exit marshalled by a young side.
"There are so many positives in small aspects of the game. Set piece was good around our dive plays and Iwan Jenkins kicked well. A number of young players got their first start which is super pleasing and it's a great start to a new beginning."
There were six Chiefs tries scored by four different players as both Fenton and Sol Moody scored a brace with Zack Wimbush and Jack Forsythe also getting their names on the scoresheet.
Jenkins converted five of the six conversions and slotted a penalty kick to bring the final scoreline to 41-43 in Chiefs' favour.
Chiefs' next pre-season friendly is against Ospreys in Bridgend on Saturday 6th September.
