Kitchen assistant/porter

Location: Exeter, Devon - need ability to commute to relocate before starting work

Contract type: Full-time and part-time roles available

Hours: Monday to Friday will be the main element of the job, with some weekend and evening requirements depending on match days and functions.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Exeter Rugby Club Ltd is looking for a kitchen assistant/porter to Join our team.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and handling in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation
• Assist with banquet and restaurant service as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work in different areas of the kitchen as needed
