Ascherl to gain game-time with Pirates

Centre Harry Ascherl will be available for game-time with Champ Rugby side Cornish Pirates for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old back will train at Pirates’ Penzance ground and be available for selection in their upcoming league games.
After a successful trial period with Chiefs throughout pre-season of the 2025/26 season, Ascherl signed a full-time senior contract with the club in October 2025.
Having spent time in Australia playing for Sydney University in the Shute Shield, he wanted to improve his skills in the Chiefs environment.
The centre is not a stranger to the Champ, having previously played for Hartpury RFC.
